Delhi to Canberra celebrates Indian cuisine and the global migration of spices that lace every dish that we produce. We ventured into the Canberra dinning precinct on the 8th of February 2019, driven by the immense passion and vision of our chef/owner Ranjit who has honed his skills in Indian cuisine for over a decade. This was ably supported by his partner and better-half Suman whose passion for excellence have driven the restaurant to ever-growing accolades. Ranjit and Suman took inspiration from local produce and seasonality in curating the name ‘Delhi to Canberra’ that celebrates the aroma and sensory experiences from the by lanes of Delhi to the very heart of Canberra at 12 Chinner Crescent in Melba. You must experience it to be able to gauge the perfection and professionalism behind our approach. With a locavore approach and a keen eye on sustainability, we are renowned for delectable dining experience with includes exemplary food preparations and high-end service culture that prevails in the skills of all our team members. We understand the dietary need and allergens to be able to accommodate each guests’ palate, be it gluten or lactose intolerance or vegan/vegetarian or even pescetarian as we aspire to enhance and educate the plate with the freshest ingredient and flavours and surprising each guest with personal care and service. We, Ranjit and Suman are restaurateurs, truly believe that the choices we make about what we eat, where it comes from and how it’s prepared have a direct and powerful impact on our health, hence our Motto is “Absolute Guest Satisfaction”.
